Thoughts from Rhikyha
During this time of the month you will see nothing, but old couples showing new love or new couples finding love. For all of us going through this month alone, what do we decide to do with all of our time that could be used for love and attention in a relationship? We love ourselves.
It seems like such a hard thing to do with so many people in social media expressing how it takes years to come to this. The loving of yourself, but anyone can start today. It takes small steps that will grow into confidence and self-love. Here are just a few steps you can take to start your journey this month.
Candles and Tea
I know it sounds so basic to the human ears, but hear me out. When lighting a candle you get a sensational feel of relaxation as the smell fills your home or room. You will find yourself sitting back with a smile on your face. Even if you’re staring at a blank wall.
Adding tea into the mix helps your body grow spiritually as tea is very good for the mind and internal body. Chamomile, matcha, and mint tea are the best teas to drink for a detox of stress and keep you in that relax state.
At this point of time your body is thinking about how you are taking time out for yourself and eating up the good aura you are providing for yourself. This ticks off a point in your brain that gives you a small energy boost that you will barely notice. It will have your confidence come to a slight raise. Don’t make this a tough thought in your mind because your body is supposed to gradually start this process on it’s on, but nothing a little cheat can’t help quick-start the process.
At Home Spa
An at home spa? I know you’re thinking I probably lost my head, but I’m telling you, you can build a small spa at home! Right now!
Starting off by putting on that playlist that always have you grooving you can set up a few candles around your home, put a lot in the living room though because this is where you will reside later on in the day.
Dress yourself as if you were at a spa and fill up your tub with warm water. Placing a few drops of baby oil in the water will have you coming out feeling smooth. If you want to soak, I suggest adding a bunch of flower petals inside of the water, any flower of your choice.
Afterwards, you wrap your towel tight around yourself and take a bucket. Fill it with warm water and more flower petals if you would like and place it in front of the chair you would like to sit in that’s in your living room.
Make your favorite drink and take a seat in your living room where you can put on any movie of your choice and just relax.
This is something you can do with your girls as well to surround yourself with more positivity. That’s what makes your mind and spirit grow. Positivity. Keeping yourself positive and surrounding yourself with love helps you come to a certain agreement in your mindset that will help you come to realization.
Enjoy The Day
Being simple is a delicacy. Step outside and breathe some fresh air. Let your body embrace the warm sun. You can go for a drive to s different restaurant and try something new. Dance by yourself and create a positive atmosphere for yourself.
If you don’t want to step outside, warm up some hot chocolate and snuggle in your bed. Rent your favorite movie or watch your favorite show. Today is all about you.
You are on a road to self-discover and health and today is a nice day to begin to the journey. This will help with your courage and confidence. Erasing the need to hear others opinions about your life.
